About
Hi, I'm Habib, a Duke grad working in AI. I've published research on the theory side and built production systems at startups on the engineering side.
During college, I co-authored HKConv (LoG 2024), a hyperbolic graph convolution that set state-of-the-art results on seven benchmarks, and won a silver medal at ICPC Chengdu.
I like to work on difficult and interesting problems. Feel free to reach me on LinkedIn, X, or by email.
Education
- Duke, B.S. '26 — two research grants and three-time Dean's List with Distinction (top 10%).
Research & Competitions
- Hyperbolic Kernel Convolution (HKConv) — co-authored and published a novel convolution operator that enables effective local pattern extraction in hyperbolic space for the first time. Publication (LoG 2024). Code.
- ICPC Chengdu Silver Medal — medaled in one of the premier competitive programming contests in Asia, where contestants compete in algorithmic problem-solving, logical reasoning, and decision-making under extreme time pressure. Standings.
Selected Work
- specguard — found five logical inconsistencies in ARP4754B, SAE International's guideline for developing civil aircraft, using a formal verification tool built on Z3. Article. Code.
- AI Agent Reputation — built an onchain explorer that checks AI agent reviews against x402 payments and flags sybil clusters, showing that under 0.01% of reviews come from paying customers. Site. Article. Code.
